Jessica Harbeson, Assistant Conductor
Assistant Conductor Jessica Harbeson has directed church and community choruses in her native Washington, DC, area, in Tallahassee, FL, Champaign-Urbana, IL, and now in the Boulder-Denver metropolitan area. Ms. Harbeson received her undergraduate degree in music from the College of Wooster in Wooster, OH, and her MM in choral conducting from Florida State University in Tallahassee, where she studied with Dr. André Thomas. In 2010, she assisted with preparing the choir for the 2010 Colorado premiere of Monteverdi’s Vespers of 1610. Ms. Harbeson sings with the Ars Nova Singers and the choir of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Boulder. When not making music, she enjoys volunteering her time with Agape Healthcare, a local hospice organization.
